A two-day training program on the enhanced Electronic Building Permit System (e-BPS) was jointly conducted by Mahalaxmi Municipality and JICA, with technical support from ISPL. Hosted in Mahalaxmi Municipality, the training saw the participation of 50 designers and consultants, focusing on e-BPS and the Building Construction Working Procedure (BCWP).
BCWP, promoted by the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC) with JICA’s support, aims to strengthen control and monitoring of e-BPS by establishing clear procedures for building permits, construction supervision, quality monitoring, and issuance of completion certificates within municipalities.
